Dietary Counselling
Our dietetic consultations are designed to help you achieve a healthier, stronger and more energised version of yourself with the aim of preventing chronic disease development and/or managing your existing health challenges for an improved quality of life. With the myriad of conflicting nutrition messaging out there, we are here to personalize your care with an appropriate eating and lifestyle model that suits your health goals. Our dieticians each have an area of expertise so whether you are looking for generalized health guidance or targeted treatment for a specific issue you will be in expert hands.
Consultations
Our initial consultation is one hour in length and is considered an intake session. Here we get an thorough family, medical and social background as well as a deeper understanding of who you are; including your food and exercise preferences, your weekly routine, sleep patterns, stress levels and any past struggles you have had with health and lifestyle changes.
After the initial assessment we offer follow up consultations which are 20-30 minutes in length. In these sessions we offer guidance and manageable lifestyle changes working at your own pace and
taking into account the importance of implementing deep behavioural changes which will result in long term, sustainable change. These sessions also offer non-judgemental accountability, nutrition education, support and troubleshooting to help achieve the desired health outcomes.
